The new Rugs America program at Century 21 is
prominently featured on the fashion retailer's website.

FARMINGDALE, NY - After quietly rolling out a small selection of rugs
at New York off-price high-end department store Century 21, Rugs America
has dramatically expanded its offering to include more than 1000 SKUs in
several hundred styles, according to Ariel Hakimian of Farmingdale-based
Rugs America Corp.
Part of
the Century 21 Home collection, the expanded rug departments will be at
select stores, which initially include Old Westbury, NY,
and Morristown, NJ. The Rugs America program is now offered online at
the retailer's website,
C21STORES.COM. Rugs sold on the web start at $99, and are shipped
from Rugs America, which will also handle returns. Online shoppers may
filter rugs by four design categories: contemporary, traditional,
geometric, and solids and stripes.

Describing Century 21 as an industry leader in budget friendly high-end
apparel, Hakimian said, "rugs have become a large part of home fashion,
and for that reason our collaboration with Century 21 is the ideal fit.
We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of design and color,
providing customers with a vast array of home fashion merchandise at
affordable prices." He noted that the Century 21 assortment includes a
full range of sizes and designs, from high-quality affordable rugs to
heirloom carpets and one-of-a-kinds. Hakimian said the average price for
a 5x8 rug is $299.
