RUG & KILIM JOINS GROWING PAVILIONS AT LAS VEGAS MARKET ROSTER; 500+ TEMPORARY LINES CONFIRMED

LAS VEGAS, N.V. -- Rug & Kilim joins 100+ new and returning exhibitors among the more than 500 temporary gift and home lines in a dynamic new layout in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market, running July 28 - July 31, 2019.

The New York City-based luxury rug company will be located in the Design Home section at booth P1-1024. "This is our first time showing in Las Vegas, and follows a successful first showing at Suites at Market Square at the spring High Point Market," said Cyrus Nazmiyal, a company principal. Rug & Kilim is bringing its award-winning Scandinavian Collection to Vegas, presenting the line to show shoppers in Western states for the first time.
 
"The Pavilions are truly a must-see destination at Las Vegas Market, and the new layout will offer marketgoers a synergistic one-stop-shopping opportunity for gift, lifestyle, home, handmade and vintage products," said Jo Ann Miller Marshall, president of tradeshow leasing for International Market Centers. "Las Vegas Market offers retailers and designers an ever-increasing breadth and depth of resources and the Pavilions provide further access to unique and on-trend products to help them differentiate from competitors."
 
This summer, the Pavilions will feature five core destinations: GIFT, HANDMADE, DESIGN (DESIGN LIFESTYLE, DESIGN HOME), HOME and DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace.
 
GIFT features 180 exhibitors showing a full range of giftware categories, including decorative gifts, tabletop, housewares, gourmet foods, jewelry, apparel, personal care, stationery and innovative lifestyle products. New for Summer Market, marketgoers can find a combined design-driven gift and home experience in DESIGN, a Las Vegas Market destination which showcases 75 DESIGN LIFESTYLE and DESIGN HOME exhibitors. 
 
DESIGN LIFESTYLE will showcase 30 emerging designers and forward-focused products. New and notable exhibitors include: Artecnica/Sempli; Artnzwordz; Cavallini; Cognitive Surplus; Cose Nuove; I Like Paper by Sissle UG; Made Makers; Scenthane; and Tay Ham.
 
DESIGN HOME will showcase 45 design-driven home décor, furniture, and textiles collections. New and notable lines include: Bolster Interiors Inc.; Casa Duuya USA; Daylight Dreams Editions; Denali Furniture; Filling Spaces; Keikico; Laura Lee Designs; Little Birdie; Pink Lemonade; Rug and Kilim; and Taylor Linens.
 
HOME features 55 suppliers of all things home, including accent decor, furniture, textiles, linens, and decorative accessories. New and returning exhibitors include: Canterbury Lane; Crooks Designs; Cuevas Wholesale Group; Fujian Fairly Foreign Business Exhibition Co.; India SME Forum; Karma & Luck; Lovinflame; Native Linum; Meissenburg Designs; ORE International; Personal Space MB; Picture King; and Welland Industries.
 
In DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace, buyers can purchase found objects, antiques, repurposed and recycled home decor, jewelry, and clothing from more than 125 exhibitors. DISCOVERIES offers cash and carry, order writing and immediate delivery. Two Showcases in Pavilions
 
This summer, The Pavilions also will present specialized hand-crafted and artisan-inspired resources with two popular showcases: Aid to Artisans and Artisanal LA.
 
The fourth appearance of the Aid to Artisans' TEAM (Training for Entrepreneurs in Artisan Markets) showcase of first-time exhibitors will present a variety of curated, maker-produced goods from international artisans. Aid to Artisans exhibitors include: Aid to Artisans Mexico (Mexico; decorative accessories, fashion accessories, home textiles); Azure Jewelry (Mexico; handmade contemporary jewelry); CIEP Lesotho (Lesotho, Africa; fashion accessories); Dancing Yak Handicrafts (China; handbags, fashion accessories); Peruland All Natural (Peru; textiles and gifts); Sammy Export (Ethiopia; fashion and home accessories); Savanna Baskets (Ghana; handmade baskets); and The Red Sari (Nepal; fashion accessories, handbags, hats, scarves and gloves).
 
The Artisanal LA pop-up show presents 35 Los Angeles-based unique-to-Market makers and artisan products in categories that include edibles, stationery, jewelry, home goods, garden and kids. Artisanal LA exhibitors include: Amy Zhang; Coco Tutti Chocolates; Emii Creations; Fired Up Tiles; Graphic Anthology; Madame Lemy; Prana by Lana; Rebeca Mojica Jewelry; Revive; Sara Pilchman Ceramics; The Lavender Whim; and Urbana Sacs; among others.
 
Pavilions Seminars and Events 
 
The Pavilions will host a slate of special programming at Summer Market, including educational seminars, guided product tours and buyer hospitality events.
Seminars include: Protect Independent Stores with Retail Leadership, in collaboration with Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resources Professionals (AHVRP), Fair Trade Federation (FTF) Museum Store Association (MSA) and Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group (ZAG), from 4 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 28; the Non-Profit Retail Networking Reception (RSVP), in collaboration with Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resources Professionals (AHVRP), Museum Store Association (MSA) & Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group (ZAG), from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 28; and Fair Trade - Setting a Legitimate Ethical Standard for Business, in partnership with the Fair Trade Federation, from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 29.
 
Guided product tours happening in the Pavilions include: Curated Docent Tour - Top Museum Store Product (RSVP), led by Sam Ujvary, managing editor of Museums & More, from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 29; and Meet the Makers Tour - Experience the Creativity led by Lenise Willis, editor in chief of Gifts and Decorative Accessories, from 3 to 4 p.m. on Monday, July 29. Buyer hospitality in the Pavilions includes daily (Sunday to Wednesday) Buyer's Morning Grab & Go, sponsored by the Home Furnishings Association, starting at 8:30 a.m.; and The Pavilions Afternoon Bars, from 2 to 6:00 p.m.; Additionally, the popular Cash & Carry Shopping Event, a combined order writing/cash and carry late-night event with shopping and complimentary cocktails, returns to the DISCOVERIES destination from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 29.
 
The Pavilions also will include a food court, a seminar room with a robust schedule of events, a registration area and a free shuttle that connects to the main campus. The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market are open Sunday, July 28 through Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Sunday to Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
