NORCROSS, GA -
Cherie Sheahan has been named Director of e-Commerce
and Social Media for Amer Rugs, according to Tanuj Gupta, president of Amer.
In her new position, Sheahan will be
responsible for Amer's further expansion into the internet sales and e-commerce
markets. She has also been tasked with raising Amer's presence within all social
media channels.
Sheahan is an e-commerce veteran. Most
recently, she was e-commerce marketing manager for Cabinet Corp, and earlier
Sheahan was e-commerce manager of marketing for Christian Bling. "Cherie's
determination and drive make her a terrific addition to our team", said Gupta.

said Sheahan. "The chance to join such a focused, high energy team is a great
opportunity." Sheahan will report to Joe Barkley vice president of sales and
marketing at Amer Rugs.
Amer Rugs has been operating as the
direct sales affiliate of Saraswati Global Private, Ltd. in the United States
and Canada since 1998, and has showrooms in Atlanta, High Point, Jaipur, Las
Vegas, and New York.
