NOURISON EXPANDS FULFILLMENT OPERATIONS TO SEVEN-DAY WEEK; STAFFS UP IN GEORGIA

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Leading floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison
has expanded its Calhoun, Georgia, operation, now running a full seven days per week. Nourison has staffed for additional shifts to cover the
expanded hours and arranged with major carriers UPS and FedEx to also pick up
on the weekends. This allows Nourison to process and ship orders faster to meet
their customers' needs.
"Today's savvy consumer expects same day shipments and
instant gratification. To keep up with our customers' needs, we knew we needed
to ramp up our operation and be able to ship products from our extensive in-stock
inventory in less than 24 hours," said Andrew Peykar, COO of Nourison.
Nourison owns a large operation center in Calhoun, Georgia
that complements its Saddle Brook, New Jersey facility. The company maintains
an extensive inventory of area rugs, broadloom carpet and home accents, that is
shared between both facilities. Nourison's operation now runs seven days a week
allowing it to fulfill standard orders in 24 hours or less. Nourison can also
fulfill custom cut area rug orders in 5 to 10 days, which is much faster than other
competitors in the floor covering market.
