FARMINGDALE, NY - Rugs America has recently made key appointments which
the company says will help accommodate increased demand across all
market platforms. Josie Muniz has been named business development and
marketing manager, responsible for digital and print marketing. Andrew
Brave has been appointed director of e-commerce, and has helped build
Rugs America programs with several major online clients.
A graduate of Farmingdale State College, with a Bachelor of Business
Management degree, Muniz will lead sales efforts through various
distribution channels including chain stores, mass merchants, online and
specialty stores. "I am excited to have this opportunity with Rugs
America and look forward to working with their team to further develop
brand awareness and increase their already extensive network of
customers," Muniz said.
Andrew Brave's responsibilities include maintaining high online
inventory demands, monitoring gross margin valuations and managing all
aspects of web analytics related to e-commerce. He has a strong
background in banking and real estate, and holds an MBA from Yale School
of Management. "The success of Rugs America's e-commerce initiatives
resides in our responsiveness to customer needs," said Brave, who the
company said is skilled at forming partnerships and has a keen ability
to recognize new online business opportunities.
