AMER ANNOUNCES APPLE WATCH PROMOTION, SHOWS 12 COLLECTIONS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIGH POINT

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- In addition to the debut of 12 new collections, Amer Rugs announces a special market promotion in which each retailer purchasing $5,000 during the October 2016 High Point Furniture Market will be rewarded with an Apple Watch.
"Amer has long promoted a green-driven healthy lifestyle by producing natural renewable wool area rugs, so extending this positive lifestyle to our retail partners through this Apple Watch program is something we are excited to share," said Tanuj Gupta, president of Amer Rugs.
NEW COLLECTIONS
The company introduced 12 collections at July shows and will be presenting them in High Point, expecting they will be seen for the first time by many market visitors who do not attend Atlanta or Las Vegas shows.
Amer's Blu collection is inspired by the subtle beauty of the Lascaux drawings in France. Produced of 100 percent blended New Zealand wool, the line is hand-knotted in India to with weathered and artfully worn patina.
Dwell is a sophisticated yet simple cut and loop, tight low pile collection of rugs that offer a straightforward and easy but innovative approach to design. Made in India of superior blended New Zealand wool, the rugs get a bit of sparkle and pop from viscose highlights.
The Bansi collection is a group of casual printed tufted looped rugs made in India from high quality 100 percent premium virgin wool.
The Raffia collection features hand loomed, abrashed designs with splashes of today's most popular colors. Raffia rugs are made in India of only the finest New Zealand wool and premium Art Silk (viscose).
APPLE WATCH PROGRAM DETAILS
Amer offers a free Apple Watch to eligible buyers.
The Apple Watch incorporates fitness tracking and health-oriented capabilities with integration with iOS and other Apple products and services. Apple Watch relies on a wirelessly connected iPhone to perform many of its default functions such as calling and texting. It is compatible with the iPhone 5 or later models through the use of Bluetooth. The Apple Watch is the best-selling wearable device with over 4.2 million smartwatches sold in the second quarter of the 2015.
Apple Watch Award program is only good for confirmed purchase orders taken Oct. 21 - 26, 2016 and limited to one Apple Watch per retailer. Apple Watches will be mailed to retailer upon payment of invoiced purchase order.
