09072017 Creative Home Scores French Connection License, Ready for NY Home Fashions Market Launch
Creative Home Ideas lands London fashion brand French Connection license for area rugs, bedding, decorative pillows and more. The range, pictured above, will be unveiled at NY Home Fashions Market.

NEW YORK -- Textile and area rug manufacturer Creative Home Ideas, a division of YMF, landed the license program for hip London clothing brand French Connection, known for its trendy casual wear for both men and women.

"We will be introducing French Connection Home in all areas of soft home," said Yaron Shemesh, executive vice president at YMF, who told RugNews.com that the program will include more than 50 area rug styles. "Our target market is the upscale home textiles retailer [notably department stores] that appreciates fine brands, fashion forward styling and a casual living experience."
The new soft home collection, which will be on display during next week's New York Home Fashions Market in Creative Home's 295 5th Ave. showroom 1714, includes area rugs, bedding, decorative pillows, towels and shower curtains. French Connection also offers other home accessories including lighting, tableware, storage and decorative items, and home fragrance. All the French Connection designs feature a global influence and are inspired by the brand's fashion apparel line. 
The new French Connection rug assortment features innovative constructions -- such as this shaggy hand-woven, pure wool Aztec-inspired design -- created by license holder Creative Home Ideas just for the fashion brand.
"The expansive collection of rugs includes more than 50 styles that vary in different finishes ranging from tufted Moroccan cotton rugs to shags and natural vegetable dye options. The area rugs, which range from machine-made to handmade, are manufactured in India, Turkey and China," Shemesh said. "These rugs feature very creative constructions we came up with just for the French Connection rugs." 
The inaugural bedding collection includes seven collection focused on 100 percent cotton with a soft hand and an attention to detail including frayed edges, coconut buttons and textures that brings out the casual living brand identity with high end fabrics. Creative Home will also offer the finishing touches to any interior with a range of decorative pillows featuring various textures, furs and printed cottons, as well as sheets, towels and shower curtains.
"French Connection is a welcomed addition to Creative Home Ideas brand portfolio as it enhances our companies relaxed casual esthetic," Shemesh continued.
