ATLANTA -- Surya will open its third luxury designer showroom in the U.S. in August at the Boston Design Center, building on the success of its year-round design showrooms in Dallas and Chicago.
The move is part of the company's continuing program to provide designers with year-round accessibility to the Surya brand by opening to-the-trade showrooms in major metro markets across the U.S. Boston follows on the heels of Surya's second luxury showroom, which debuted
a year ago in Chicago, and has proven to be a successful prototype for the brand.
After a highly successful Chicago showroom launch in June 2018 (above), Surya sets its sights on the Boston Design Center.
"We are continuously aiming to simplify the buying and sourcing experience for our customers," said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. "With the resounding success of our first permanent home in the Midwest, we set our focus on bringing the same collaborative partner experience to designers on the east coast. We have plans to open a second east coast location by the end of the year."
Surya's Boston showroom will make its home in The Boston Design Center, an all-inclusive design resource that is located in the Innovation District of Boston's Seaport neighborhood. Like the Chicago showroom, the Boston location will allow trade professionals to interact personally with a comprehensive high-end selection of Surya accessories including rugs, lighting, wall decor and accent furniture. Designers will be able to shop for current and upcoming projects as well as collaborate with clients in the showroom's dedicated work spaces.
