SAFAVIEH SPOTLIGHTS DREAM MATTRESSES AT ICFF

NEW YORK - Designers and architects visiting the Safavieh booth during its inaugural exhibit at the international Contemporary Home Furnishings Fair (May 16 to 19) were intrigued by the company's new Dream Mattress collection, according to Jonathan Yaraghi, head of Safavieh's wholesale furniture group.

The mattress was displayed in a total bedroom environment featuring Safavieh Couture upholstery, layered area rugs, accent furniture and lighting, all from the company's total home decorating lifestyle collections.

A first-time exhibitor at ICFF, Safavieh created a bedroom featuring its Couture furniture rugs and new Dream Mattress collection.

"We got Safavieh brand exposure among designers and architects during the trade days of the show, and will get even more quality leads for our Dream Collection when ICFF opens to the public on Tuesday.  The show has been a very positive experience for us," Yaraghi explained.

"People were surprised that we are offering spring mattresses in this program, and after testing the bed, they were pleasantly surprised at the comfort and engineering we have built into it," he said.

Introduced to retail buyers at the Las Vegas Market in January 2015, the mattress collection is currently available through major chains and department stores for online purchases.

Safavieh has a successful upholstered headboard program and is planning to expand into fashion bedding in early 2016.
