ORIENTALIST HOME TAPPED FOR SUITES AT MARKET SQUARE BEST BOOTH AWARD

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Orientalist Home of Long Island City, N.Y. was recognized with a Best Booth Award at the Suites at Market Square (SAMS) at the spring 2017 High Point Market. Judges for the awards were the designers, social media experts and design editors who led the Suite Spot Tours during market, and they present awards to one exhibitor on each SAMS floor.

"The Suite Spot leaders are trendsetters who know what our customers are looking for now, and what consumers will be looking for in the months ahead. We are very excited that they acknowledged our booth and collection with this award," said Gady Yesilcay, owner of Orientalist Home. "We travel around the world collecting exotic, traditional and modern handmade pieces, so that we can bring market the latest designs and color trends to market."

Yesilcay said designers at market were looking for vintage designs in fashion colors and modern designs including modern Moroccans and Tibetan weaves of bamboo viscose. "Everybody is looking for unique, one-of-a-kind. The show has been very good for us," he said.
