KALATY BEEFS UP K-TWO COLLECTIONS FOR NY HOME FASHIONS MARKET

NEW YORK -- Next week at 295 Fifth Ave., Kalaty will present new additions to its growing K-Two series of popular priced rug collections targeted to a range of buyers from NY Home Fashions Market shoppers to High Point furniture retailers, as well as the heirloom-quality hand-knotteds for which the company is widely known.
At Kalaty's showroom, Suite 508, retailers will find three K-Two collections, Polaris in wool, and Theory and Solstice, both in polypropylene. "You could certainly make a case that K-Two collections are a must-see for the upcoming market," said Mike Kalaty, a company spokesman.
"Over the past two years our popular-priced K-Two series has grown to include 16 collections that are bringing in a variety of new customers. We are seeing that K-Two is drawing new customers to Kalaty at each market because K-Two offers pretty much something for everyone with styles ranging from traditional to transitional to modern in a wide range of textures and weaves that includes hand-loomed, power-loomed, hand-tufted as well as hand-knotted designs."
Still, Kalaty continues to serve a loyal following for its heritage hand-knotted heirloom collections, Mike Kalaty reported. "With the latest colors and designs we've added recently, we feel confident that our customers will respond positively to this aspect of our product line at the New York show as well."
