KAS TO DEBUT HOME DECOR CATEGORY
IN NEW ATLANTA SHOWROOM

SOMERSET, NJ -- Kas Rugs will enter the home decor category at the upcoming Atlanta International Area Rug Market, Jan. 8 to 11, 2014, according to Rao Yarlagadda, president.The company will make its initial launch  of pillows and poufs in a new 6,500 sq. ft. AmericasMart showroom, space 4-C-5.

  “The market is changing and the furniture business is becoming a large piece of the overall Home Furnishings business” said Yarlagadda. “ We want to provide a full array of  trend accessories for our customers in these channels that will help enhance their business.  We are working hard to ensure that these expanded businesses are operated with the same level of excellent service that our customers have come to expect from us”.

Kas's new showroom will offer more space for the new accessory categories, added Wendy Reiss, vice president of key accounts..   “2014 is projected to be a year of tremendous growth for us," she said.

 â€œWe needed a space to adequately show what we are trying to do in these new product categories and also be able to show more of our expanding rug line,”.  she added.

"The showroom will feature vignettes of new product, conference and office areas, and a relaxation/bar area with flatscreen tv to enjoy at the end of a busy market day.” 

In addition to  the launch of the new home accents categories, Kas will show over 200 new rug designs at the upcoming Winter markets in both Atlanta and Las Vegas (B-175) Jan. 26 to 30, 2014.
