DYNAMIC RUGS EXPANDS STOCKING CAPABILITIES, ACQUIRES SECOND WAREHOUSE FACILITY

Dynamic Rugs purchased a second facility next to its Maryland headquarters that expands its current warehouse footprint by 60 percent.

FREDERICK Md. --  Dynamic Rugs, which celebrates its 25th year in business this year, has acquired a new facility next to its headquarters that grows its warehouse capacity by 60 percent.

"Every decision I make at Dynamic Rugs -- no matter how big or small -- I do with the customers at the forefront of my mind," said company founder Matthew Rouhanian. "The decision to increase our warehouse capacity is one that's certainly going to pay off.  We now have the ability to further diversify the qualities, designs, and colors we offer to our customers. And we will also be able to stock larger quantities of each quality, design, and colorway, which gives us greater on-hand stock to fulfill customer needs on demand directly from our warehouse. This, in turn, will allow us to move our goods from overseas much faster, and this fast-moving of goods is essential in a fashion industry, such as the area rug business."

The acquisition of the new facility allows Dynamic Rugs to significantly increase its in-stock position, added Anoosha Rouhanian, who pointed out that the added space will also give the company the flexibility to implement a range of other improvements as well. She noted that the company has expanded its product development and photography departments as a result of the added space.

In 2005, Dynamic Rugs moved to its current Frederick, Maryland, headquarters (shown).

"Our new warehouse has a designated space with ample natural lighting for simulating what one might find in the home, as well as lighting specifically designed to reflect that of retail stores to allow us to view new samples in the same context as the consumer initially perceives them in-store or at home," she explained.

"Plus, this large viewing area specifically designed for reviewing brand new samples sent from our factories allows us to have a greater selection pool from which we can compare and contrast qualities, constructions, colors and designs to decide which best fits the trend research our marketing team has done. With trends changing faster than ever before, we believe that making informed decisions from a wide variety of options is essential to stay ahead of the industry."

The new Dynamic Rugs warehouse is already accruing inventory and is only the latest investment the company has made in its future. In fact, Dynamic Rugs kicked off 2019 with a special year-long anniversary pledge to St. Jude as a thank-you to its customers for their support over the years. It also revamped its Las Vegas Market space and its New York City showroom as well.

Dynamic Rugs' Anoosha and Matthew Rouhanian are celebrating the company's 25th anniversary with a special collaboration and year-long pledge to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

"The growth of our warehouse space reflects the growth of our company, which is a direct result of all the hard work the Dynamic Rugs team has been putting into making sure we keep our customers happy, " Anoosha Rouhanian said. "Of course the added warehouse is incredibly advantageous going forward from a logistical and business standpoint, but it also pulls at our heart strings. Since we can see the new warehouse from the windows of our current administrative area -- every time someone from the team looks out at it, they make a comment along the lines about how excited they are and how impressed they are.

"Everyone here knows that it's because of their hard work and genuine desire to keep our customers happy and satisfied that we were able to make this acquisition. I'm incredibly proud of everyone here, especially my dad, and so grateful to all our customers. This new warehouse is hopefully just a stepping stone to all the growth we have yet to come!"
