FEIZY BUILDS ON DOUBLE-DIGIT FIRST HALF INCREASE; SHOWCASES BROAD NEW ASSORTMENT IN VEGAS

Las Vegas Market shoppers will see the intricately hand-knotted Dalia Luxe collection debut at Feizy's showroom in a range of saturated colors and traditional to contemporary designs.

DALLAS -- Feizy heads to Las Vegas Market with new hand-knotted rug collections in opening to upper-end price points, as well as line extensions and machine-made intros that will continue the forward momentum of a double-digit increase in the first half of 2019.

"For the past two years we've been focused on rounding out our total assortment very strategically for all of our customers. We've always done super-well at the high end, obviously from our hand-knotted ancestry. But the goal of filling in and expanding the product base in the low-, mid-, and high-side of machine-made, hand-tufted and hand-loomed is now apparent in our line," explained Mike Riley, president.

Asked about collections contributing to sales growth this year, Riley said, "The high end just continues to grow because we do so well in the interior design segment. We've also done very well in the mid prices. For that mid-tier customer we've back-filled some opening price point product for e-commerce that correlates with the opening price points of the key major furniture retailers and chains. We're also adding machine-mades that are in the mid- to high-price: the two-million-point pieces.

"We are seeing strengths across most constructions and not just in seasonal/outdoor-type products," Riley continued. "We are consistently hearing about challenges with hand-tufted products weakening online and at retail for a myriad of reasons -- one being the younger generation's lack of patience for wool shedding. We will continue to see shift here into better machine-made eating into the tufted business at retail."

Feizy identified the need to grow its range of price points at its own showroom and at markets in Dallas, Vegas and High Point. "That's where we have our interior design communities," Riley said, "At Las Vegas and High Point markets, for example, we're selling $15,000 rugs and we're also selling $99 retail rugs. And at our showroom in the World Trade Center in Dallas, we'll have people that buy a $15,000 or $20,000 rug who will also buy a $400 rug. Customers have a need for a range of price points too."

Following is a first look at a few of the latest collections debuting at Feizy's Las Vegas showroom, C-180 this summer:

DALIA LUXE

Dalia Luxe by Feizy is hand-knotted from top of the line wool.

The Dalia Luxe collection, with saturated hues inspired by the rich velvets and lavish tapestries of medieval times, includes patterns ranging from traditional to contemporary in sizes to 11'6" x 17'6". These rugs are hand knotted with the finest hand-carded, hand-spun wool, lending each piece a subtle sheen and soft hand.

PAYTON

Feizy introduces the hand-knotted Payton collection at summer markets.

Illustrating Feizy's Global Nomad trend, the fashion-forward Payton collection features tribal patterns in a palette of neutrals and blues with soft pastel accents, and sizes to 11'6" x 15'. Hand-knotted in pure wool, a high-low pile lends each piece added dimension for textural interest.

BECKETT

Beckett by Feizy is handwoven PET fibers.

Handwoven of sustainable, 100 percent PET fibers, the Beckett collection is made from recycled water bottles for fashionable styles that are eco-friendly, stain-resistant and durable. Inky gray and beige tones create a backdrop for sophisticated geometric motifs, in sizes to 9'6" x 13'6".
