AMERICASMART ENHANCES MARKET EXPERIENCE
WITH NEW BUYER AMENITIES

ATLANTA - AmericasMart Atlanta enhances the market experience with new and newly expanded customer amenities at The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market (Showrooms: Tuesday, July 7 to Tuesday, July 14, Temporaries: Thursday, July 9 to Monday, July 13) and The Atlanta International Rug Market (Wednesday, July 8 to Saturday, July 11).

Daily New Buyer Breakfasts allow new-to-Market retailers to meet one-on-one with AmericasMart's expert Retail Services staff. Retailers can learn more about Market resources and logistics and develop an effective Market buying plan and network with other new buyers.

Buyers are encouraged to explore vibrant Atlanta attractions just steps from AmericasMart with exclusive discounts offered through the new AmericasMart Attraction Partnership Program. Inaugural partners include the Georgia Aquarium, the College Football Hall of Fame, The Center for Civil and Human Rights and SkyView Atlanta. Click here for additional information.

Information on the Partnership program, local restaurants and more is available at the new Information Station in the lobby of Building 1. Staffed by Atlanta experts, the kiosk is a must-visit for buyers looking to make the most out of their Market visit.

Buyers can take a break or celebrate a successful day of shopping at the Portman Blvd. Summer Patio across the street from AmericasMart. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in fare from some of Atlanta's finest food trucks and enjoy live entertainment in this new Market programming sponsored by Le Creuset, Bradshaw, Tervis, Dugan-Bliss & Associates, Inc.,  Corksicle and Design Imports.  "An Evening of Fun with Fred Schneider of the B52s and DJ Vicki" brought to Market attendees by Fred Schneider's Monster Coffee takes place on Friday, July 10.

Designers are invited to visit the Designer Workspace located on Building 1, Floor 15 for inspiration, relaxation, networking and professional resources. This new resource, which opened in January 2015, includes work areas, meeting rooms, seminar space, a sourcing library and concierge service from industry veteran Design Relations Manager Cathryn Miller. The Designer Workspace is the hub for design-focused though leaders as it hosts the Market's home décor programming including Rachel Ashwell, founder of Shabby Chic, giving a glimpse inside her iconic brand; hosts of HGTV's "Love It or List It, Too" Jillian Harris and Todd Talbot sharing designer tips and tricks for the home; Jamie Durie of FYI Network's "Outback Nation" discussing how clients and designers are coming back to nature in many different forms; and Amy Flurry signing copies of her book "Recipe for Press" at a cocktail hour sponsored by Parlore.com.

"AmericasMart is known for its hospitality and ultimate buyer experience," says George Kacic, executive vice president of Retail Services.  "These reimagined amenities allow us to welcome buyers with open arms and help them experience all that this city and this Market have to offer."
