ASHLEY RUG LINE SET
TO DEBUT AT NY HOME FASHIONS MARKET
FORT MILL, SC - The
U.S. arm of English lifestyle brand Laura Ashley has partnered with rug
manufacturer Creative Home Ideas to launch a line of rugs to be unveiled at next
month's New York Home Fashions Market. With retails starting at $25, the
initial 50-SKU collection includes kitchen wellness rugs, accent rugs, bath rugs
and outdoor mats. The rug collection will be presented during market at the
Creative Home showroom in 295 Fifth Avenue, suite 1714.
The new
collection will offer both classic and contemporary styles in a mix of bold
prints and traditional looks designed for generations of Laura Ashley customers.
"We are pleased to build our business in partnership with Laura Ashley and to
incorporate the brand's signature designs into a beautiful collection of rugs
for the home," said Yaron Shemesh, executive vice president for Creative Home.
"Expanding on our
existing home furnishings categories
the new rug collections will have
distinctive, beautifully crafted looks that are both luxurious and affordable,"
added Penne Cairoli, president, Laura Ashley, Inc. The lifestyle brand is
planning to introduce Laura Ashley outdoor area rugs in a second collection with
Creative Home Ideas.
