SOMERSET, N.J. -- With the debut of over 100 rugs and a new pillow assortment, Kas Rugs expects the fall 2016 High Point market to be one of its best markets of the year.
Kas is expanding its range of price points with the introduction of higher quality rugs as well as deepening its foothold at value-driven price points. The company reports that the demand for a wider assortment of price points has increased over the past year, now enabling Kas to casting a broader net.
Seven new collections will be unveiled In High Point, among them are three Kas is projecting to be market best sellers: Reina, Stella and Whisper. In response to an uptick in demand for larger, room-size rugs, all three collections as well as many others are offered in a 9' x 13' size.
REINA
Reina is machine woven in Turkey of polypropylene frisee yarn and is available in five sizes including an 8-foot round, with a 5 x 8 retailing at $180. The patterns in this collection are eclectic and global and the colors are high-fashion.
STELLA
Stella is machine woven of 100 percent polypropylene in Turkey and comes in five sizes through a 9'10" x 13'2". Retail for the 5 x 8 is $215. Trendy watercolor effects and abstract patterns make a sophisticated lifestyle statement.

WHISPER
Also premiering in High Point is Whisper, a hand-tufted in China collection featuring a fine wool blend. The patterns in this collection are abstract, bold and vibrant. Whisper is available in five sizes including an 8-foot round and a 9 x 13, with a 5 x 8 retail at $620.

DISPLAY RACK PROGRAM
Kas' New Swatch Display Rack Program, created for customers who want to offer a variety of rugs within a limited footprint, is shipping now in a single rack or triple rack assortment. The program is completely customizable and the display accommodates up to 62 rug samples. The display can be seen in the company's High Point showroom in IHFC, G-270.
Kas will open for market one day early on Friday, Oct. 21, and will stay open through Wednesday, Oct. 26. The company is offering free freight, and pillow and pouf discounts throughout market. Additional specials will be offered.
Kas holds a wine and cheese happy hour in its showroom daily from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. with cheese and wine.
