CAPEL TO HOST ËÅ“SELFIE" PHOTO CONTEST
DURING FALL HIGH POINT MARKET
TROY, NC -- Capel Rugs will host its first "Selfie" photo
contest during the Fall High Point Market October 18 to 23 at its Market Square
space 112. Retailers, designers and other buyers will have the opportunity to
win an 8' x 11' version of the rug model they singled out in their photo.
To enter the contest, showroom visitors start by taking creative photos of
themselves with their favorite new Capel rug in the company's showroom, then
email that photo to publicrelations@riversagency.com
where it will be posted to
Capel's Instagram account (instagram.com/capelrugs) and tagged with the hashtag
#SelfieCapelRugEntry.
Contestants also are encouraged to post images to their own Instagram accounts
using that hashtag, but photos must be shared with Capel Rugs to be entered in
the contest.
Viewers will be able to see all the contest entries on Capel's Instagram page or
by searching #SelfieCapelRugEntry. By clicking "like," they will cast a vote for
their favorite shot.
The contest begins on Friday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m., the evening before the
market's official opening on Oct. 18, and continues through the end of market on
Thursday, Oct. 23. New entries will be posted at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily during
market.
The contest winner will be determined by which photo receives the most "likes"
on Instagram by the end of market.
