HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Abbyson Living, absent from High Point Market for more than a decade, returned to the Fall 2016 edition of the market with a spacious 22,000 square foot IHFC showroom to highlight its total home solutions and roll out its new interior designer trade program.

"The impact and importance of Abbyson's return to High Point Market is enormous," said Bob Maricich, chief executive officer for show organizer  International Market Centers. "Not only are they back after more than a decade, they are back in a big way -- with a significant new showroom that demonstrates the value they see in having a strong presence on the East Coast to reach the buyers here.  This move broadens Abbyson's scope and reach into becoming truly an international player.

For fall market, Abbyson Living is using its time at High Point not only to debut 300 new product designs, eight full-home collections, 13 product categories and a full range of home furnishings resources, but also to teach buyers about its new digital selling programs and the launch of its trade program.

Abbyson Living said it responded to requests from its clients for a trade program and created Abbyson Living Interior Design Trade Program as its solution. The membership program offer participants buying power, such as no order minimums, trade-exclusive products, as well as shipping and wholesale pricing to designers. "Our trade members will now be able to offer their clients the exceptional quality and unbelievable price points synonymous with the Abbyson Living brand," the company stated.

The High Point showroom allows Abbyson to display its whole-home approach to the category.

"Many of our buyers had been asking for the Abbyson brand to expand into the High Point Market," said Yavar Rafieha, president. "So we were very excited to showcase hundreds of our new stylish designs, along with new digital selling platforms that will harness the power of the e-commerce boom and help drive new audiences to their businesses, at this Fall High Point Market."

The return to High Point Market coincides with the company's new rebranding initiative called 'All Together Now', which emphasizes a cross-category approach to total home decorating targeting Millennials. The company launched the campaign during the 2016 summer Las Vegas Market as part of an effort to broaden its demographic reach.

"The area rug category is second nature to us at Abbyson," Rodd Rafieha, senior vice president, Abbyson Living told RugNews.com. "As many know, Abbyson was created on the foundation of handmade Tibetan rugs in 1989. Now that we are in 15 different product categories and are the complete lifestyle brand, we felt that it was time to enter back into this category and tie together our entire assortment of products."
