West Hollywood, CA--The New York International Carpet Show will be held Sept. 11-13, 2016 at the Tunnel NY, a new venue located at 224 12th Avenue in the Chelsea district of Manhattan. In making the announcement, Murtaza Ahmadi, NYICS executive producer, said that the location stays true to the show's boutique positioning while providing an environment rich in charming character and history.

The Tunnel NY, also known as Terminal Warehouse, was originally home to twin rail lines that ran through the space. The NYICS event space resides in the center of the 1.2 million-square-foot brick Waterfront NY building which spans a full city block. With sections dating back to 1891, the building received major upgrades last year after undergoing a $50 million renovation. Historic details have been preserved, such as original rough-hewed beams, original pine floors and cast-iron columns.
