ABBYSON LIVING EXPANDS RUG CATEGORY; ANNOUNCES RETURN TO HIGH POINT MARKET


Rooms fully decorated with Abbyson Living products in 15 categories are part of a new 'All Together Now' campaign, including a major expansion of rugs.


LOS ANGELES -- After expanding its rug collections significantly at the August 2016 Las Vegas Market, Abbyson Living has announced a return to High Point Market at the upcoming October edition. The moves come in tandem with the company's rebranding with a new 'All Together Now' campaign, which emphasizes a cross-category approach to total home decorating.

500 NEW RUG SKUS

"The area rug category is second nature to us at Abbyson," Rodd Rafieha, senior vice president, Abbyson Living told RugNews.com. "As many know, Abbyson was created on the foundation of handmade Tibetan rugs in 1989. Now that we are in 15 different product categories and are the complete lifestyle brand, we felt that it was time to enter back into this cross category and tie together our entire assortment of products. 

"We have expanded Abbyson's rug assortment to over 500 new SKUs hand-crafted in 100 percent wool -- luxurious New Zealand wool. Retails range from $69 to $499 depending on the size and are initially targeted at online retailers in the U.S. and Canada.

"Here at Abbyson Living, our design team has been working extremely hard to expand our product assortment and create magnificent products in a full range of products. We are proud to announce that we have over 3,000 active SKUs in our catalogue," Rafieha said.


A transitional room features Abbyson Living upholstered pieces and wool rug in popular gray and cream tones.

'ALL TOGETHER NOW' CAMPAIGN

Debuting this summer, the new branding campaign, 'All Together Now,' is aimed at Millennials in an effort to grow the company's market share with that segment.  It also reinforces the notion of one-stop shopping for retailers. "With this new path, all our products are coming together with one source and one supplier for beautiful, high quality items," added Yavar Rafieha, president, Abbyson Living. "Our customers are becoming savvier every day, and we can fulfill all their needs in one stop with this new concept. With our strength and experience in supporting the largest e-commerce retailers, we offer a state-of-the-art infrastructure and customer service to enable today's demanding multi-channel retail models," he continued.


Targeting Millennials and e-commerce retailers, Abbyson Living offers bold, colorful designs in New Zealand wool.

NEW HIGH POINT SHOWROOM

Abbyson will occupy a 22,000 square-foot showroom on the 11th Floor (Commerce Wing, C1156) of the IHFC building for the fall event, running from Oct. 22-26, 2016. In addition to 300 new product designs, eight full-home collections, multiple product categories and a full range of home furnishings resources, Abbyson is launching a series of new digital selling programs and services for designers and retailers.
