FEIZY RUGS DEBUTS NEW COLLECTIONS AT LAS VEGAS MARKET

One of the five fresh collections for rug buyers to check out at Feizy's showroom during Las Vegas market is Arazad, pictured above.

DALLAS -- Feizy plans to introduce several brand new and recently previewed collections (Arazad, Duprine, Piraj, Surtsey and Haute Trends) at the Las Vegas Summer Market.

"It's always exciting to launch new collections at Vegas market," said Cameron Feizy, principal of the Dallas-based company. "We're excited to share this season's striking collections. With our breadth of fine hand-knotted, hand-tufted and power-loomed rugs, Feizy offers luxury at any price."

The hand-tufted Arazad collection marries traditional and tribal motifs with modern colors, shown design 8479F in black and tangerine.

The hand-tufted Arazad collection features neutral palettes paired with strong geometry and colorful designs. Made in India, the collection combines traditional and tribal styles in modern color combinations including blues, golds, persimmons and rusts.

A contemporary twist on the pinstripe, the Duprine dhurrie is crafted of recycled PET.

The Duprine collection offers a contemporary take on the dhurrie, featuring a colorful pinstripe on a cream ground. From India, Duprine is made from recycled PET.

Piraj, design 6454F in blue shown below, uses a large knot-size to create an affordable alternative.

Sizable single knots create an elegant and affordable floorscape in the classic Piraj range, knotted by hand in India. The wool and cotton blend collection reworks traditional patterns, with some designs in distressed vintage styling and others in deeply saturated hues.

Surtsey, shown in 3954F, features an incredibly soft hand and is power loomed in polypropylene for durability.

Feizy also introduces the Surtsey series, imported from Turkey. The debuting collection marries traditional, Parisian design influences with transitional patterns and pops of color. With a vintage, distressed styling, Surtsey is power-loomed in polypropylene for durability.

"We are thrilled to debut Surtsey," Feizy said. "It's sure to be a hit. Decadently soft and surprisingly durable, the Surtsey collection features warm neutrals with pops of corals, pinks and aubergines. Power-loomed in polypropylene, it's the perfect addition to stand the test of time in any high-traffic room or area."

HAUTE TRENDS' BIG REVEAL

In addition Feizy will debut the final designs of its new Haute Trends program with a special panel discussion hosted in its Vegas showroom, C-399, on Monday, August 1 at 4 p.m., called the Big Reveal. Special guest moderator Karen Marx, executive director, home furnishings and special projects, Hearst Design Group moderates a discussion with the Haute Trends designers -- Michel Smith Boyd, Julia Buckingham, Kerrie Kelly and Jackie Von Tobel. Specialty cocktails and bites will be served following the unveiling of the final designs.

In January 2016, Feizy announced its collaboration with four designers, each of whom shared two designs that comprise Feizy's Haute Trends collection, with each rug hand-tufted in India. The Big Reveal event will reveal the full suite of eclectic patterns and colors to West Coast buyers. Read RugNews.com's exclusive interview with Buckingham, click here.
