LAS VEGAS-- Oriental Weavers showcases its weaving acumen and innovation with six new collections, and lots of line extensions to excite Las Vegas Market shoppers interested in fresh designs and palettes, and Made in America products.
Debuting this market is a range of hand-knotted look-alikes in classic traditional, modern abstract and transitional casual designs, in both indoor and outdoor collections. Summer offerings also include new patterns in the popular Raleigh collection of traditional distressed patterns, Sedona's Boho-inspired designs, and the lavishly detailed Masterpiece collection of medallion motifs.
Following are a few of the must-see collections on show this week at OW's showroom (C396):
TOSCANA
With the new Toscana collection, Oriental Weavers captures the beauty and charm of vintage carpets but with updated traditional styling and warm neo-traditional colors. Shown is Toscana 9545D.
A new, more authentic take on the bohemian trend, Toscana focuses on capturing the beauty and charm of vintage carpets through updated traditional styling and unique color combinations. The Toscana collection features a high density construction, machine woven in the USA of space-dyed nylon/polypropylene blend yarn.
The line includes 12 designs and introduces warm neo-traditional shades of saffron, coral, bright apricot and blood orange to the cooler smoky teal, ash blue, charcoal and oatmeal shades. Retail is $ 399 for 5'3" x 7'6".
BOWEN
A full rug and a corner detail show the unique texture of the debuting Bowen collection by OW.
The Bowen collection focuses on tactile designs in a high-low machine woven construction with fresh, light neutral tones contrasted with deep navy and black. Styles include organic abstracts and active solids, as well as bold geometrics and textured traditionals. Retail is $299 in 5'3" x 7'6".
FORMATIONS
Formations is the first area rug collection made from viscose to be offered by Oriental Weavers.
The beautifully hand-carved Formations collection is hand-loomed in India and represents Oriental Weavers' first all-viscose rug in a new construction that avoids shedding. The collection, which debuts with seven abstract organically-inspired designs is made with specially twisted viscose yarn.
A hit at the Atlanta Market earlier this month, the new Bowen collection includes abstract modern designs in addition to classic and geometric patterns.
