LOLOI PACKS INSPIRATION AND INFORMATION INTO NEW 2018 CATALOG

The newly released 2018 catalog by Loloi, available in printed and digital versions, includes 671 pages of product imagery, decorating ideas and a new editorial series called 'Inside my Home.'

DALLAS -- Loloi's 2018 Edition Catalog features 671 pages in an uncomplicated, easy to use design format that combines product images presented by collection, along with close-ups for texture and inspirational room scenes.

The 2018 catalog also introduces a new storytelling series called, 'Inside my Home', spotlighting the homes and interior design philosophies of young talents,Tara Mayer, Sarah Breer and Tariq Dixon.

While the cover of  Loloi's new catalog is understated and speaks to functionality, the extensive photography inside brings every design and collection to life.

Page six starts a conversation with textile historian Tara Mayer. Over tea, she reminisced with Loloi execs about her childhood memories of certain rugs in her home.  Now, living in Vancouver with her family, Mayer says she selects textiles for her mid-century modern mountain home by considering softness and warmth to counteract the raw edges of her understated interiors.

Loloi uses detailed close-ups in this catalog to show the intricacy of weaves and variations of depth and texture in their collections, such as the hand-loomed Hadley (pictured).

In juxtaposition, the catalog then travels to an LA loft for a conversation with young designer, Sarah Breer. Hailed as the "rug lady" by many of her co-workers, she explains how a balanced rug can invigorate the preferred neutral tones and subdued aesthetic of her Hollywood home. The famed interior designer of the Hotel Covell doesn't believe in living in fear of "precious" home décor though, explaining that, "The last thing I ever want is to feel inhibited by my own home because of a fear that I'll ruin a rug."

Another important theme of the catalog, shown here by the Sojourn Desert rug (above) and Juneau collection (below), is the power of nature and how bringing it into the home can sculpt the perfect environment.

Finally, Loloi takes a look into the designing mind of Tariq Dixon, co-founder of the NYC-based industrial design studio TRINK. At his historic brownstone in Brooklyn, Dixon discusses the value in appreciating and embracing the grit and imperfection of the city. However, he also believes in the power our environments can have over our state of mind, and explains that the type of material under your feet can have a large impact, especially on extra stressful days.

A design from Loloi's Century collection, power-loomed of polypropylene, dresses up the lodge look with its distressed effects and soft blue palette.

Other chapters include a guide to cleaning and caring for rugs, how to pick the best rug pad, the Loloi display fixture program, and the mechanics behind the company's popular one-of-a-kind rug program. To further emphasize the catalog's simple aesthetic and easy to use functionality, a table of contents lists all Loloi collections in alphabetical order, and identifies collections that are suitable for outdoor use.
