Eliko
Eliko offers custom color and custom design in all of its rugs,
including this chic blue Moroccan design.

Eliko
Antique & Decorative Rugs, a custom hand-made house catering to interior
designers with new and vintage collections, introduces the looped weave
Brooklyn collection, which uses a thick, nubby 100% wool and abrash
colors to create a casual but sophisticated rug. "We like to think of
this as a better alternative to jute rugs, they have the same casual
feel, but because they are wool, they will last a lifetime," notes
designer Dena Richardson. "The wholesale cost is $25 per square foot and
each rug is made to order, so custom color is very much a part of the
ordering process, although we do have about 20 colors already sampled."
Woven in India, a room sized rug takes about two to three months to
craft, she notes. Eliko also has a new hand tufted line of wool and
bamboo in zero pile, and the Black Weft collection featuring a dark weft
that gives the rugs an aged look. Eliko Showroom, 108 S. Lindsay St.,
