AMER SCORES DESIGN AWARD FOR 'LEGACY 2018' CATALOG

Underscoring its heritage as weaver of hand-knotted rugs, Amer's award-winning 'Legacy 2018' catalog is devoted to its 24 hand-knot collections. On the cover is Tania Gupta, a third-generation member of Amer's founding family.

NORCROSS, Ga. -- Amer Rugs has won the prestigious American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA for the third time in the past four years, the latest for its Legacy 2018 Catalog.

"We are extremely honored to be recognized by Graphic Design USA, said Amer Director Raj Choudhary in making the announcement. "To receive this award in 2015, 2016, and now again in 2018 is a great accomplishment and recognition to our creative team. Special recognition should go to Amer President Tanuj Gupta for his vision to separate the Amer brands into two distinct catalogs, 'Legacy' for Amer's timeless hand knot collections and "Diversity" for Amer's exciting machine-made and other constructions," Choudhary explained.

Amer Rugs' Legacy 2018 catalog includes sections for each of 24 programmed collections, including Dazzle, pictured above.

The pair of catalogs simplifies the shopping experience, hitting home the breadth and depth of the company's offerings, which diversified with Amer's first hand-tufted collections in 2015, and now includes machine made rugs for indoor and in-out use.

Inspirational room settings such as this for Amer's Antiquity collection are featured for each hand-knotted line in the Legacy 2018 catalog.
