DALLAS - Feizy has announced the finalists for its new Haute Trends collection following a national search that was launched at Las Vegas Market in August, 2015. The company has spent the last three months looking for what it considers "the best of the best" for Haute Trends, a unique concept in rug collections. The line will be designed entirely by rising stars in design from across the U.S.
"We met with so many incredibly talented interior designers across the country. While it was hard to narrow it down to just eight, these finalists really stood out, and we are excited to see their imaginations come to life in beautiful rug designs," said Kim Vance, vice president of marketing and communications at Feizy.
The finalists are:
Michel Smith Boyd - Michel Smith Boyd Interiors in Atlanta
Julia Buckingham - Buckingham Interiors + Design in Chicago
Shay Geyer - IBB Design Fine Furnishings in Dallas
Holly Hollingsworth Phillips - The English Room in Charlotte
Kerrie Kelly - Kerrie Kelly Design Lab in Sacramento
Kelly Sutton - Kelly Sutton Design in West Hollywood
Erinn Valencich - Erinn V Design Group in Los Angeles
Jackie Von Tobel - Jackie Von Tobel in Las Vegas
The finalists will be narrowed down to four by an internal panel by the end of 2015. The four chosen designers will design two hand-tufted rugs each that will debut at High Point Spring Market 2016.
Feizy will unveil the first Haute Trends Rugs at Spring 2016 High Point Market.
