TROY, NC -
In honor
of the 25th anniversary of the Biltmore licensing program,
Capel Rugs awarded a Biltmore gift basket in a retailer raffle conducted
during last month's High Point Market.
The
winner was Stephanie Herzog, assistant sales manager at Sandy's
Furniture in Vero Beach, FL. Stephanie is the daughter of Sandy Herzog,
the store's president. The family-owned and operated full-line furniture
and home accents store has been serving the Treasure Coast of Florida
since 1969.
"Stephanie was so thrilled to win this special gift basket from
Biltmore," said Cameron Capel, vice president of national accounts for
Capel Rugs. "For good luck, she drew a heart on the back of her card and
showed it to her mom before dropping it into the raffle jar."
The prize
basket includes two daytime admission tickets to Biltmore in Asheville,
N.C., a bottle of wine, a tea cup and saucer, a Biltmore Traditions
cookbook, a diary-style book with pen, decorative candle, salad dressing
mix and postcards.
"We had a
very strong market, and our Biltmore designs, as usual, were very well
received," said Capel, about the company's activity in High Point this
April. Legacy, the company's newest Biltmore collection, began shipping
to stores during the first quarter of this year," she added, "and sales
are off to a great start with lots of repeat orders."

The 25th
anniversary of the Biltmore licensing program, which kicks off this
summer, "will add even more momentum to sales," Capel said.
To
celebrate the anniversary, Biltmore will conduct a consumer sweepstakes
in late summer. The grand-prize winner will receive Biltmore merchandise
to create a master bedroom, and five other silver winners will be
awarded a selection of Biltmore products. During 2015, Biltmore will
continue building consumer awareness of its licensed products through
regular ads in Traditional Home and Southern Lady magazines.
