DECOR RESOURCES GROW IN ATLANTA BEFORE JULY 2019 MARKET

ATLANTA -- Twenty-two design-driven showrooms are opening new locations, reimagining their spaces or renewing their leases in preparation for The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market, July 9-15, 2019.

Mastour Est 1890 is among the six new showrooms opening at the market's Home Décor Collection, which features nearly 2,000 brands encompassing lighting, accent furniture, rugs, wall décor, casual furniture, and linens presented in 300 showrooms on 12 floors. Tibetan carpet importer Endless Knot Rugs joins the Commercial Design Collection as does Spicher & Co.

"The décor offerings in Atlanta continue to evolve and expand," said Scott Eckman, International Market Centers (IMC) executive vice president, president of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing. "The result is a trend-driven presentation of the unique finds, accent pieces and lifestyle products east coast retailers and residential and commercial designers seek."

The six new showrooms opening in the Home Décor Collection are America Arts (fine oil paintings and frames); Djem Unique Design (handmade upholstery furniture and accessories made in Turkey); Lands Downunder International (throw blankets and scarves woven in Italy and New Zealand); Mastour Est 1890 (Oriental and European carpets plus rare, antique, vintage and art rugs); Soicher-Marin Gallery (art resource for interior designers); and Welland Industries, LLC (shelf, storage, organizers, accent furniture and home décor). An additional five showrooms expand for the market: Boutross Imports (handmade linens from around the world), Chive (vases), Classic Home (home furnishings), D.V. Kap HOME & Canaan Co. (pillows) and Mainly Baskets (hand-woven furniture and baskets). Curia & Co. (commercial and residential furnishings and accents) relocates.

The Commercial Design collection continues to grow with six new showrooms, one relocation / expansion, three new lines joining established representative groups and a new office space for industry technology provider The Company. Opening in July are: Hubbardton Forge (hand-forged luxury lighting); Lacefield Designs (commercial-quality printed textiles, decorative throw pillows and outdoor pillows); Novateur Design Solutions (representing Affra, ATI Wall Surfaces, Bernhardt Hospitality, Currey & Co Hospitality, Endless Knot Rugs, Frasch, Loftwall Dividers, Offect, Spicher & Co, and Worlds Away Hospitality); PS Luxury (upscale handmade furniture for commercial projects); Three Birds Casual (custom commercial casual furniture) and a corporate showroom for Worlds Away Hospitality (metal furniture and lighting).

Joel Robinson & Associates (representing Bethel International, Cobra Art, Creative Touch Rugs, David Edward Furniture, Grand Rapids Chair, Eko Contract, H Contract, Hooker Contract, Nevins, New Growth Designs, Nightingale Chairs, OW Seating, Sam Moore Furniture, Scandinavian Spaces and Three H Tonik Furniture) expand and relocate. New lines debuting in the collection include Bend Goods (wire furniture manufacturer) and B&N Industries (modern and modular shelving) at CW Design House at HABITAT Hospitality BY Lia Shin/CW Design House, and Julien (high-quality sink manufacturer) at Stover Sales.

Major brands have also renewed their commitments to the Atlanta Market including Codarus (representing Abyss & Habidecor, Ave Home, Bittersweet Designs, Dash & Albert, Dira, Grand Image HOME, Lili Alessandra, Moss Studio, Nancy Price Interiors, Pine Cone Hill, Square Feathers Home and TL at Home), Loloi (rugs and textiles) and Wendover Art Group (wall décor).

Beyond home décor showrooms, The Atlanta International Gift at Home Furnishings Market showcases nearly 350 more innovative and emerging home décor brands in temporary exhibits. The Market's home décor temporary exhibits show in six collections across four floors, with HD Home in Building 1, Floor 1; ANTIQUES in Building 1, Floor 2; Décor, Fine Linens & Home Textiles and Home Accents & Home Furnishing in Building 1, Floor 7; and HIGH DESIGN in Building 2, Floor 1. The Home Décor Temporary Collections run July 10-14.
