MOMENI RECEIVES 2017 AMERICA'S MAGNIFICENT CARPETS AWARD FOR NEW MARGAUX COLLECTION
A colorful design featuring an on-point pink palette and extra-soft plush texture compelled judges to honor Momeni with the America's Magnificent Carpets Award in the hand-tufted category, for its new Margaux collection.

ATLANTA -- For the second consecutive year, Momeni took home the top honor in the Hand Hooked/Hand-Tufted category at the America's Magnificent Carpets Awards gala and presentation, held Friday, Jan. 13, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza's Peachtree Ballroom.
On stage accepting the award at the rug and home industry's signature event was Momeni's Hadi Sattari, national sales manager, who thanked the jury as well as Momeni staff members and customers for making the award possible. The annual competition, which celebrates industry achievement in design and construction, presents awards in 11 categories.

Momeni's debuting Margaux collection won best hand-tufted rug in the $0 - $16 per square foot price category, the only category in the competition covering hand hooked and hand tufted rugs. "From our many January introductions, we chose to submit Margaux because this particular line is unlike anything in the market in terms of design and texture," Rachael Fasciani, Momeni's director of marketing and public releations told RugNews.com. "We always want to present new designs that make Momeni a differentiator."
Designed by Momeni's lead designer, Katy Repetto, the Margaux collection is hand tufted of 100 percent polyester with brilliant colors and a super soft hand.
