REVITARUGS TO EXHIBIT AT ARCH DIGEST HOME SHOW; RUG RESTORATION DEMO BACK BY ATTENDEE DEMAND

For its third year at the Architectural Digest Home Show, revitaRUGS founder, Hamid Zarei will be joined by rug restoration artisans doing live repair demonstrations.

NEW YORK - RevitaRUGS will exhibit at the 14th annual Architectural Digest Home Show to be held at Piers 92 and 94 from March 19 to 22. The company will use live demonstrations and videos as part of its ongoing educational program for designers and consumers.

A specialist in antique, Oriental, Persian and custom-designed rugs, revitaRUGS says the primary objective is to give architects, designers, and other attendees the opportunity to experience the proper installation, maintenance, cleaning and restoration of valuable area rugs. To that point, they will show videos of the company's cleaning processes, before and after photos showcasing artful restoration, rug fiber protection techniques, and more.

"This is our third year at Architectural Digest Home Show, and this year one of our revitaRUGS' specialists will be doing an on-site rug repair for the duration of the show. We believe this in-person demonstration allows for a better understanding of how rugs are made, repaired, and the artisanship involved for proper restoration of these works of art," said revitaRUGS founder, Hamid Zarei.

"The show is very successful for us. Every year we are visited by architects, designers, and homeowners seeking information for proper installation and care instructions for area rugs made with new fibers," added Azita Goldman, vice president of revitaRUGS. "Traditional wool and natural silk rugs are now blended with other fibers for visual effects and cost considerations. Natural fibers such as hemp and soy, jute, sisal, seagrass, bamboo, recycled silk and viscose are no longer a niche market. They are becoming a part of mainstream décor. Traditional methods used by most rug cleaners are not applicable to such fibers and will damage the rugs."

RevitaRUGS says its method, which restores life and vitality to rugs with purified soft water and organic soaps, handles even the most delicate silk, viscose, natural fiber, Persian, and Oriental rugs with ease. The company services commercial and residential clients nationwide.

"We serve the New York Metro area with high praise from rug merchants and consumers alike, and have been ranked by designers as New York's leading rug cleaning service," Goldman said.
