JEROME'S NAMES ORIAN RUGS TOP PERFORMING AREA RUG VENDOR |
SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Southern California multi-store retailer Jerome's Furniture presented Orian Rugs the 2017 Top Performing Vendor Award in the rug category at its inaugural Best in the Business conference held last month at its San Diego headquarters.
According to David Oates, company spokesperson for Jerome's, vendors in several key product categories were honored with awards for Top Performing Vendor, with Orian winning in the rug category. "A number of factors were considered in selecting the vendor awards," Oates said, "including how well their products did in our retail environment, their customer service deport, how well they were able to integrate with our operations and the like. Orian Rugs was certainly well deserving of that honor, and we were glad to have been able to present it to them," he continued.
"The purpose of the conference was to be a collaborative event by which we could communicate not only to our strategic suppliers and other partners, but also to our employees as to the state of the company, all of the initiatives that were undertaken in 2017 and to give them a review of 2018. We capped up the two-day conference with a series of awards for Best in the Business, including the Top Performing Vendor awards," Oates explained.
With 16 locations in California's San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange counties, family-owned Jerome's Furniture has more than doubled in size in the past decade, and will soon open a store in Solana Beach, California.
