| DALTON, GA. "€œ Walt Hartsfield has been named product manager for broadloom for Oriental Weavers USA, Inc., according to Michael Riley, president. In his new role, Hartsfield will work with the company's sales force, product development and senior management team to further expand the company's distribution of Wilton-woven and Axminster broadloom produced at the company's facilities in the USA and Egypt. Hartsfield assumes duties formerly held by Andy Brumlow, who was recently promoted to vice president of product development for both rugs and broadloom. (Full story, click here.) Hartsfield joined Oriental Weavers in 2008 as broadloom operations manager. He was instrumental in the development and launch of the company's broadloom category.
Before joining Oriental Weavers, he was the general manager for Daltonian Flooring Inc., Calhoun, GA. "It is always an honor to promote such talented people from within the organization," said Michael Riley president of Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. "Hartsfield brings a great deal of energy and knowledge to our team and we look forward to growing our broadloom business into new product and distribution categories in the coming months." Founded in 1991, Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. is a division of Oriental Weavers Group, a multi-national collection of companies formed in the 1970s that is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt. 03.24.10
