COMPANY C PREMIERES SPRING 2016 COLLECTION; FEATURES CEU SESSIONS IN HIGH POINT

Passion Flower from the spring 2016 Company C collection is hand-hooked of wool with large scale blossom in blues driftwood and ivory on a grey ground. Retail is $680 for 5x8.

Concord, NH - Company C, the New Hampshire-based design company known for its colorful line of handmade home décor and furnishings, will debut its Spring 2016 collection during High Point Market October 17 to 22. In continued pursuit of new materials and innovative techniques, Company C will introduce several new rug designs featuring soft, hand-spun bamboo. In addition, an expanded bedding assortment includes the Echo collection in luxurious European linen.

"We love to seek out the latest and most innovative techniques and materials available and to bring them to life through color and design," said Christine Chapin, co-founder and 'colorful living officer' at Company C. "The collection continues to represent our vision of a colorful lifestyle, always with an eye toward sustainability and responsible sourcing."

Also coming to the showroom during market are CEU sessions with Eric Haydel, President of the New England Chapter of ASID, and Susan Inglis, Executive Director of Sustainable Furnishings Council. Eric's session, The Color of Branding, brilliantly ties in the use of color in successfully branding a business, and will be held on Saturday and Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Susan will focus on sustainable practices in her session, Designing Green Interiors, to be held on Tuesday at 10 am. All sessions will be held in the showroom, IHFC D431. Early sign up is encouraged by contacting customercare@companyc.com, as space is limited.

Company C describes the Passion Flower rug as its garden statement of the 2016 spring season.

With the brand expanding, the company recently opened its first Studio Store concept on the Main Line in Wayne, PA. In partnership with Peggy and Scott Brehman of long-time retail partner Aubusson Home, the 2,000 square foot space showcases the entire Company C product assortment. According to Chapin, "We were inspired by the thought of a traditional store-in-store, and decided to take the concept a step further. The Studio Store is 100% dedicated to Company C designs and services, with the Brehmans as proprietors. It is a fabulous partnership; we are all delighted and committed to bringing color and design to the Main Line."

The company plans to open more Studio Stores in strategic markets in 2016, as well as store-in-store locations across the country, as part of its continued brand expansion efforts. "We're always looking for ways to maximize brand presence with our retail partners," said Chapin. "The Studio Store concept is an attractive option for partners who are committed to serving customers and their design communities by offering Company C color and design."

Company C will host a party with color and cocktails on October 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in showroom D431.
