ATLANTA -- Hand-knotted and machine-made rugs are driving sales at Amer Rugs in 2019 and recent introductions are expected to generate positive summer results.
"Hand-knotted and machine-made rugs are both very strong categories for us now, " said company director Anupriya Choudhary. "With the introduction of fresh new designs and promising new color ways, we are very excited for the summer Atlanta market."
In fact, Amer, which presents its latest area rugs at its AmericasMart showroom in Building 1, 6-D-9, anticipates that its 2019 summer sales will outpace the same period a year earlier. "We have seen a steady rise in sales in all our categories, especially in our machine-made and hand-knotted collections," Choudhary, noted, pointing out that recent introductions such as Zenith, Bristol, Cambridge and Boston have been well received by buyers and many are getting new designs for Atlanta.

BRISTOL
Amer Rugs hand-knotted Bristol BRS-8
Featuring soft colors and natural abrash, the hand-knotted Bristol collection adds new looks for Atlanta summer shoppers. Made of raw hand-spun New Zealand wool for added texture and tone, the range is available in large sizes including 8x10, 9x12 and 10x14, and a 2x3.
