TORRANCE NAMED VP
FOR ORIAN RUGS IN CANADA

Orian
Rugs Inc. has named Jill Torrance vice president and general manager for
the company's Canadian division, according to an announcement by Don
Newton, senior vice president. Torrance will be headquartered in
Brantford, Ontario.
"Jill's
experience in product development and global sourcing makes her a great
addition to the Orian leadership team. Her extensive background, working
from concept to consumer, will play an important role in Orian's
continued growth and profitability," said Newton.
Torrance
has over twenty years of experience in the textile market, most recently
at Springs Global. She has held various management roles in
merchandising, branding and sales, and is a graduate of Ryerson
University.
Orian
Rugs is a 35-year-old vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor
of jacquard woven area rugs.
