BRIDGEPORT, NJ -- Edward H. (Ted) Evans has been promoted vice president of operations and logistics for Kenneth L. Mink & Sons, Inc. (KLM), according to David Mink, Sr., chief executive officer. The Mink organization operates the rug departments in Macy's stores nationwide.

As part of the KLM senior management team, Evans will report directly  to David Mink, Jr., president and chief merchant.

In his new position, Evans will be based at the company’s Service Center facility in Bridgeport, NJ. He will be responsible for all aspects of customer service, warehousing and distribution and technical services.

Evans joined the Mink organization in 1997 when the firm began operations in Macy’s East. He has held several regional management positions, most recently as group regional manager for the northeast states, including New York and New Jersey.

In his new position, Ted will be based at the company’s service center facility in Bridgeport, NJ. He will be responsible for all aspects of customer service, warehousing and distribution and technical services.

KLM has a license agreement with Macy's to operate the nationwide rug business for Macy's stores, with rug galleries in approximately 200 stores in 32 states.
