NEW YORK - With nearly 60 exhibitors filling 80,000 feet of space, the Rug Show at Javits delivered a comprehensive first look at carpets soon to arrive at some of the finest dealer showrooms in the country for the fall 2015 selling season. The successful show, held earlier this month, offered a platform for American-based and international trendsetters to showcase their newest and best designs to new and key customers as well as important interior designers. Eliko


Ariel Basalely and Solomon Basalely of Eliko said buyers liked the diversity of offerings on display, from antique Oushaks, to sari silk sheared rugs, to the Star and Botteh designs of the new Afghan collection.

 

Banu Home


Alex Kimia of Banu Home was pleased with response from buyers at his first Rug Show at Javits. Kimia shows rugs from 10 different countries, including Thailand, Nepal, India and Pakistan.
