SURYA DONATES TO SMILE TRAIN PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN'S OPERATIONS
CALHOUN, GA – Surya has partnered with Smile Train to donate 300 operations for children in need with unrepaired clefts. Smile Train is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in developing countries.
“In these tough economic times, the donation from Surya means more to us now than ever before,” said Delois Greenwood, executive director of Smile Train. “With their support we will be able to help more children and provide more smiles than we ever thought possible. We are honored that Surya choose to support Smile Train this holiday season. Working together, we will give hundreds of children a second chance at life.”
The donation was made in the name of Surya’s top customers in 2010. “Although we are a for-profit company, our mission is to serve our community in bringing a positive change. With our customers continued support, I am very confident that we can do more to contribute to children’s future next year,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya.
