HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Karastan introduces High Point shoppers to its newest collections and constructions at its IHFC showroom H309 here during the October 2019 Market.

Among the introductions are a range of global, tribal inspired looks in hand-knotted and hand-woven area rugs. In addition, the company adds Soiree, a glamorous assortment of shimmering rose gold accented designs in viscose and SmartStrand, Tempest, which marries the matte finish of New Zealand wool with the silky sheen of SmartStrand Silk fiber, and the Tryst collection, featuring a new generation of stronger artificial fibers and state-of-the-art construction techniques. In addition, these new collections are available in larger sizes of 9x12 and some in 12x15.

The designer has been working with Mohawk Industries, since 2005, when she signed on as a design collaborator with Durkan, a division of Mohawk Industries, to design a signature line of hospitality design collections. And in 2016, she began her collaboration with Karastan to create high-end residential styles for the hospitality segment and that program now adds several new looks.
